Save both cost and weight! This battery is less then 1/2 the size of the transmitter, and will run the beacon for more than 48 hours with typical programming parameters. If the duty cycle of the programmer is reduced, transmit time can be significantly increased . A special charger is required for these batteries. Lithium packs/cells require a Lithium Ion/Polymer type charger rated for the correct number of cells, charge rate limit is Capacity X 1. Always charge outdoors well away from flammables. Note: Swelled cells are cause by charging to over 4.2V per cell or at rates above Cx1, Discharging to under 3V per cell or overheating cells under discharge. There is NO WARRANTY for swelled or puffed cells.
