Hardware Launch Detect: An integrated acceleration switch (G-switch) marks the beginning of flight data written to on-board memory. Coupled with the existing 'smart data logging' feature, the G-switch provides a more reliable method of detecting launch than the current software algorithm based on GPS altitude.

Digital Telemetry: The status of up to 4 digital inputs may be included in the data packet. Flight events such as airframe separation or motor ignition can be transmitted by connecting a simple break wire. Inputs from other digital systems may also be connected.
